“Upon a stage of domestic theatricality in a world of filmic meta-theatre, a director, an actor and an artist fluidly exchange critiques and identities as The Chair lurks in the shadowy background. The three characters interchange roles, each trying their hand at the performing of a monologue and each time critiquing the flaws of the performer. No conclusions are found and no questions are answered — instead, more are raised. The characters eventually devolve into a confused exchange of blame, as they struggle to understand the nature of their task and the reason for their being there, until the director breaks and delivers his own monologue of catharsis to the invisible audience before finding an absurd and confused critical response from the artist and the actress.”
